Beichuan Heavy Industry has successfully developed an all-weather high-speed lifeboat. The first two boats have been purchased by the China Salvage Bureau and will be equipped on large salvage ships.

At present, the most advanced and technically comprehensive Dolphin all-weather, fully enclosed high-speed life-saving and rescue boat in the world has been successfully developed in Qingdao Beihai Shipbuilding Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. and has obtained the type approval of China Classification Society (CCS). The development of the boat has successfully filled the all-weather high-speed life-saving and rescue boat technology and production gap in China. After entering mass production and equipment, it will greatly improve the technology and conditions for high-speed life-saving and rescue in China. At present, the first two ships produced by Beichuan Heavy Industry have been purchased by the China Salvage Bureau and will be equipped on the large-scale salvage ship in the near future.

Dolphin fully enclosed high-speed life-saving and rescue boat is the latest international high-speed life-saving and rescue boat designed by the North Shipbuilding Company to purchase and successfully developed by the Swedish company. The boat's fiberglass hull adopts a "sandwich" structure and a new vacuum adsorption process in the manufacturing process, which significantly reduces the weight of the hull than the average lifeboat, but the rigidity is greatly enhanced. The boat uses a high-powered water pump system as the propulsion power and steam cushion technology. The maximum speed is more than 28 knots, and the advantages of rapid lifesaving and rescue in the case of maritime emergency are outstanding. The boat also has all-weather performance, can move laterally with 360° field of view and 360° rotation in the extreme weather and sea conditions. At the same time, the more spacious rear platform makes lifesaving and rescue at sea more convenient and safe.

The boat is designed to be 8 meters long, 2.76 meters wide and 1.25 meters deep, with a rated crew of 18 people. From April 12th to 13th, the first prototype was able to meet the design requirements after more than 20 tests including conventional and destructive 3m drop, overturning self-righting, overload, marine lifesaving and impact.
