We hope that the township government can provide one or two more cleaners.†The current two cleaners collect about 100 households of 400 kg of garbage each day.
Xiong'erzhai Township is a microcosm of Pinggu District. From agriculture and forestry alone, to the restructuring of a tourism-based and agro-forestry-assisted structure, the villagers’ lives have changed dramatically in recent years.
