Elliptic gear flowmeter often present faults and solutions

Oval gear flow meter is a kind of measuring instrument, which is currently used in the measurement of liquid oil products. Although this type of instrument has the characteristics of high measurement accuracy, low pressure loss, and large range, it is prone to inaccurate measurement, non-metering, and out-of-synchronization failures during improper use. These failures were analyzed and corresponding solutions were proposed.

One. Measurement error is too large

Oval gear flowmeters allow two-tenths of the error in metrology work. If they exceed their error values, they are considered to be too large. In actual work, the main causes of excessive measurement errors are the following aspects.

1. Different axes of the pipe segments at both ends of the flow sensor If the pipe segments at both ends of the flow sensor (that is, the pipe diameter segment of the flow sensor front-end length is 25 times and the pipe diameter segment of the back-end length is 5 times) are different axes, it will directly affect The rotational stability of the flowmeter elliptical gear results in excessive measurement errors. Therefore, in the maintenance work, it is necessary to ensure that the pipe sections at both ends of the flow sensor are coaxial.

2. The system is not tightly sealed When the elliptic gear flowmeter system is not tightly sealed, some air will be sucked into the pipe, causing excessive measurement errors. Therefore, the connection between the components of the oval gear flowmeter system and the components must be tightly sealed and there should be no leakage.

2. When the integrator does not measure the oval gear flowmeter, oil flows out of its outlet, but the integrator is not measured. The main reasons for this failure are the following aspects.

1. The sender of the sender sends a dead sender to convert the flow signal into a pulse signal device. When the sender in the sender is stuck, it will lose its conversion function and therefore cannot perform the measurement work. After clearing the catch, the calculator can work normally.

2. The optocoupler of the transmitter is covered by the dirt. The optocoupler is used to generate the pulse signal. When the optocoupler of the transmitter is covered with dirt, the pulse signal is lost. After removing the cover, the integrator returns to normal operation.

3. When the pump start button is pressed, the oil pump does not work. The main reason for this failure is that the integral power board diode (IN4001) is broken down, ie, the coil AC contactor coil power supply cannot be turned on. In fact, there is no Turn on the pump power. After replacing the qualified diode, the oil pump resumed normal operation.
