Common problems and solutions

Recalling the development period of white ink machine technology in the past, the white ink unique viscosity super-high viscosity characteristics caused by easy plugging, blocking nozzles, machine operation difficulties, etc. became the main troubles of researchers, and later the research and development personnel through various practice arguments, concluded The ketone-based white ink is used as a pigment-type quick-drying ink. Its characteristics determine the shortcomings of white ink, such as easy precipitation, easy film formation and easy plugging. So how to solve these problems, we have our own "singular tricks".

White ink is easy to precipitate: if white ink precipitates, it will not provide the best print quality and brightness, and the ink path will be blocked. Many white inks need constant stirring to obtain uniform pigment, which is easy to precipitate against white ink, so it should be on the white ink machine. There is a device for stirring ink. Although the micro-mixer has found a lot, it is not too large, it is troublesome to control, and the input cost is high. It is inconsistent with the research and development idea (to achieve the necessary functions and improve reliability with the least cost). Therefore, the airflow that is regularly discharged by the machine is skillfully realized by the function of automatically stirring the white ink, that is, the bubble stirring method. This achieves the purpose of preventing the precipitation of white ink.

White ink easy to conjunctiva: white ink conjunctiva refers to the state of instant solidification into a thin film after the ink contacts the air, mainly on the nozzle surface of the nozzle part, the charging pole, the detecting pole, the high voltage plate, the high voltage seat, the negative plate, the recovery device and the printing hole.


If it is not cleaned in time, the splash will be thickened, so that if the film is conjuncted on the nozzle surface, the nozzle will be blocked for a long time; if it is conjunctiva on the charging electrode and the detecting electrode, it will affect the charging amount. The size and phase of the film, thus affecting the print quality; if the film is conjuncted on the high voltage plate, the high voltage seat and the negative plate, it will affect the field strength of the high voltage electric field and affect the deflection of the ink drop; if the film is conjuncted on the collector and the printing hole, the printing The characters on the object are not complete.

Therefore, it is essential to adjust the position of the ink line and the high-pressure level during use, and to solve the problem of easy conjunctiva by adding various parts of the cleaning head during the use process. According to the practice summary, the timing and parts of the nozzle parts cleaning are as follows:

Before starting up - clean the nozzle gland, charging pole, detector pole, high voltage plate, negative plate and recycler. After shutdown - clean the nozzle gland, charge, detector, high voltage plate, negative plate and recycler. The machine is running - cleaning parts contaminated with ink.

cleaning method:

Wash the detergent with a cleaning agent or thinner and align it with the parts to be cleaned. If necessary, use a brush.

White ink easy to block nozzle: When it comes to nozzles, people in the industry know that the pore size is generally very small, which makes it easy to block. The white ink with strong viscosity can block the micropores of the nozzle once it is precipitated or conjuncted. Blocking the nozzle, the ink line naturally does not come out, and it is impossible to print, so the process of automatically cleaning the nozzle is added in the ink stop program.

According to the feedback from the user who uses the KN-100P white ink machine, if you pay attention to the above points, and then grasp the following points, the machine can run normally.

1) Since the white ink machine is generally used in the pipe and wire and cable industry, its industry has high frequency interference generated by the distribution box and the distribution network, and high-power variable frequency motor interference, etc., which seriously interfere with the normal operation of the machine, so it emphasizes white ink. The machine must be grounded reliably and the printer should be as far away as possible.

2) Ink supply pressure: The pressure of the ink supply cylinder should be 0.4 MPa or less.

3) Use of thinner: Pigment type ketone based ink can only be used in combination with the specified ketone based diluent.

4) Ink type replacement: The factory-based pigment type ketone ink printer can only use pigment type ketone ink, and it is not allowed to use this type of ink to discharge other types of ink.

5) The vacuum of the white ink machine needs to be higher.

6) After the ink bottle is installed at the exhaust pipe of the ink bottle, the exhaust pipe is loose and there is a place where it is deflated.

7) Number of ink stops: Only the ink stop program can be executed once every 24 hours. If for some reason the downtime is within 8 hours (the specific length of time is determined by the temperature), a temporary ink stop procedure can be performed.

8) Maintenance: The machine is best used every day. It is expected that the machine will not be used within one to two weeks. After stopping the ink, 2 ml of thinner should be injected into the recycler to clean the recovery line. Note that the amount of diluent injected should not be too large to prevent excessive dilution of the ink inside the machine. If the machine is stopped for more than two weeks, it should be parked for a long time after the ink path cleaning or once every week, and the working time should be no less than two hours.
