Alcoa Inc. recently announced that Graeme Bottger has been appointed as executive vice president and will succeed Mark Davies as the new president of Global Business Services (GBS) from October 21st, while the latter will switch to other companies. After serving as president of Alcoa’s global business services, Graeme Bottger will be responsible for the company’s procurement, shared services, and information technology organizations. He joined Alcoa in 1980 and has held various positions in commercial operations and finance. Graeme Bottger's current position at Alcoa’s vice president and treasurer will be succeeded by Robert Collins, who currently serves as assistant to the finance officer. He joined Alcoa in 2005 and was appointed to the current position of Assistant in Finance in 2009. The above personnel changes will take effect on the 21st of this month, when GraemeBottger will report to Alcoa chairman and CEOKlausKleinfeld, and RobertCollins will report to the executive vice president and CFOWilliamOplinger.
