Russia and Spain have also achieved good results in recovering copper from tailings using a bacterial leaching process.
Foreign countries also choose copper tailings to recover other components than copper. For example, in India, the tailings of flotation copper are firstly re-selected with a shaker, and then the uranium is recovered by wet method. The South African company Fosk Company uses flotation and re-selection to obtain 36.6% of P 2 O 5 from the copper tailings. 65.6% of the phosphate concentrate; Japan pure gold and copper, tungsten, bismuth and then recovered from selected from copper Residue.
