Take the recycling of industrial wastewater as an example. Weichai has a wastewater recyclable system with a daily treatment capacity of 4,400 tons in the old factory. All industrial wastewater enters the sewage station and realizes "closed-circuit circulation". The system recycles more than 100 years of waste oil. Tons, annual reduction of 1.2 million tons of industrial wastewater discharge, annual water reuse of more than 1.5 million tons, and annual water saving of 1.5 million tons. The temperature of molten iron is 1500-1550°C, and the melting efficiency is increased by 45%. The recycling rate of waste sand is over 85% through the recycling technology of old sand. With the technology of fully sealed bag dust removal, the dust removal rate reaches 99.8%.

Weichai Power combines national key scientific research projects to carry out the research on the life cycle modular design technology of the powertrain of construction machinery. Through the structural optimization design of the engine, hydraulic torque converter and gearbox, the vibration and noise control technology of the powertrain of the construction machinery was developed, and the formation of vibration and its transmission and radiation problems were suppressed from the structure. For the first time, the green design concept for the whole life cycle is applied to the design support system of the powertrain of the construction machinery, and a green design support system for the powertrain of the construction machinery based on the green design knowledge model and knowledge reuse technology of the whole life cycle is developed.
